About me...
I
started to write brass music in my early twenties, in an attempt to make
some money without getting a proper job.
After a flying start (earning £10 in my first week of business!), I began to specialise in music for brass quintet, and within 12 months my music had been performed in six continents.
In 2009 I began getting cravings to write brass band music, and set up Big Shiny Brass to publish my arrangements.
These days, I'm spending more and more of my time writing music for youth bands and beginners. And I still haven't had to get a proper job!
